Fondant Frontier

Project Overview

Nestled on an acreage near Stony Plain, Alberta, this 6,000-square-foot custom home is a true reflection of its owners' vision and lifestyle. From the interior finishes to the exterior architectural details, every element was carefully curated to create a home that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

The design blends the rugged spirit of the Albertan cowboy with the refined elegance of Victorian design and the warmth of rustic natural materials. Rich moldings, vintage-inspired fixtures, and decorative tilework introduce classic Victorian character, while natural stone, warm wood tones, and textured finishes provide a grounded, rustic feel. Western influences—including hickory cabinetry, iron hardware, and handcrafted details—add authenticity and soul throughout the home.

On the exterior, we transformed a Southwest-inspired plan into a striking acreage estate featuring copper accents and castle stone, creating a seamless connection to the surrounding Alberta landscape. The result is a one-of-a-kind home that beautifully balances luxury, heritage, and rural living.
