Welcome to Butternut Blanc, a thoughtfully reimagined kitchen renovation in Edmonton, Alberta. Our clients were entering a new stage of life and looking for a space that would better support their evolving needs. Their goal: a lighter, more open kitchen that would connect seamlessly with their family and dining area creating more open functional hub for everyday living and family gatherings.

What was once a dark, dated U-shaped kitchen with limited flow has now been transformed into a bright, timeless, and highly functional space tailored to their lifestyle and designed to bring comfort, connection, and ease into the heart of their home.

We began by removing the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room, and relocating the range, instantly opening up for larger family gathering and entertaining space. The original kitchen lacked a true focal point now resolved with a decorative range hood and feature tiled backsplash.

The new kitchen design features a soft and inviting palette of creams and caramels, complemented by warm metallic accents and Canadian made HanStone quartz countertops. These light, neutral finishes bring a fresh and airy feel to what was once a dark and closed-in room.

Because the room is long and narrow, careful space planning was essential. Every cabinet, appliance, and lighting fixture was chosen with intention to ensure the kitchen not only looked beautiful but also functioned seamlessly for everyday living.
